The Illinois Press Advertising Service (IPAS)

All dues paying members are included in the IPAS Advertising database.  Each year the IPAS provides hundreds of quotes to agencies and businesses across the country and since 2002 the IPAS has sent thousands of ads and more than $17.1 million in advertising checks to Illinois Press Association members.

The Illinois Classified Advertising Network (ICAN)

There are close to 400 newspapers across the state that are already part of the ICAN network.  Simply run 30 - 40 classified each week in your newspaper (that are mostly sold and sent by the IPAS) and you'll will be sent a check twice a year for belonging to this network(most advertising checks sent out are between $200 and $1,000).  Best of all member newspapers can sell into the network and earn a 50% commission.

The Illinois Display Easy Ad Network (IDEA or 2x2 Network)

There are more than 250 newspapers across the state that are already part of the 2x2 network.  This network works just like the ICAN network however instead of running 30 - 40 classified ads, your newspaper would receive five to ten 3.79" x 2" display ads to run in your publication.  See ICAN above for more information.

The Daily "Metro" Classified Network (Daily Impact)

The Daily Impact Network consists of more than 30 of the largest daily newspapers across the state.  These newspapers have donated space to the Illinois Press Association to sell.  Although the newspapers do not receive any money for their donation, these ads have allowed the association to continue to provide our members with the best service possible and keep the dues structure to be one of the lowest in the country for state press associations.
